There’s a lot of thinking. Some pen to paper time, getting out new ideas, breaking old habits, realizations that’ll make you say, “Ohhhh man” & “I think I want to try it this way.” Coaching is a chance to take a step back from the present you and work to create a New Future You.
You’ll feel different. In the beginning, it could feel a little prickly. You’re meeting the New Future You, so letting go of your old habits and preconceived notions you may put up a little resistance. But as long as you’re committed, and you keep moving forward, you start feeling “right.” Higher confidence, collaboration is fun, life is fun.
This depends on mindset. You may see/feel results very quickly, but you may also feel uncomfortable stepping into the New Future You. But as long as you keep moving, change will come along with you. Give yourself grace, trust the process, and just keep moving through it.
Truth is the only thing at stake is what you’re worried about right now. You could stay the same way and live your life out to the end. Even with the things that you KNOW need changing, everything seems to be working fine. Why upset the status quo, right? True. But what happens the next time there is a surprise major hiccup? Will those things that need change help or hurt you? If you’re curious about what change could look like, why not go ahead and keep walking? The New Future You is closer than you think.
